1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all business transactions between Alora Customary Care ("Alora", "we", "us") and our buyers, distributors, and business partners ("Buyer", "you"). By placing an order or entering into a business agreement with Alora, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Alora Customary Care is a registered MSME business based in Belagavi, Karnataka, India. Udyam Registered. All transactions are subject to Indian law unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Products & Quality
All Alora products are:
- 100% natural with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives
- Processed in hygienic, GMP-aligned facilities
- Produced in small batches to ensure freshness and quality consistency
- Subject to quality checks before dispatch
Quality Guarantee
We guarantee that all products meet the specifications agreed upon at the time of order confirmation. Any deviation from agreed specifications must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
3. Orders & Confirmation
- All orders must be confirmed in writing via email or official purchase order
- Orders are only confirmed upon receipt of advance payment or agreed deposit
- Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) applies — please enquire for current MOQ per product
- Custom orders require additional lead time and written agreement
- Alora reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion
4. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed. For export orders, prices may be quoted in USD or GBP. Prices are subject to change without notice until a formal order is confirmed in writing.
- Prices exclude applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise
- Export prices exclude customs duties, import taxes, and freight unless stated as CIF/DDP
- Bulk discount pricing is available — enquire for volume rates
5. Payment Terms
- Domestic Orders: 50% advance, balance before dispatch
- International Buyers: We work closely with international buyers to find a mutually suitable payment arrangement — typically advance payment via SWIFT or PayPal
- Established Partners: Credit terms available upon mutual written agreement
- Payments must be received in full before goods are released for dispatch
- Alora accepts bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/SWIFT), UPI, PayPal, and Letter of Credit
6. Delivery & Shipping
- Standard lead time: 7–14 business days from order confirmation and payment
- Custom or large orders: 14–21 business days
- Export shipments: Subject to customs clearance timelines
- Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon handover to the shipping carrier
- Alora is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or force majeure
7. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of food products, returns are not accepted unless the product is damaged or incorrect. In such cases:
- Claims must be raised within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence
- Refunds or replacements processed within 14 business days of claim approval
- We do not accept returns for change of mind or buyer error in ordering
8. Export Orders & Customs
For international buyers, please note:
- All customs duties, taxes, and clearance charges in the buyer's country must be paid by the buyer
- Alora Customary Care is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country
- We are actively working towards all necessary export certifications and documentation
- International buyers are encouraged to verify import regulations in their country before placing an order
We welcome enquiries from international buyers — particularly from the UK, Europe, and Middle East. We will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transaction.
9. Liability
Alora Customary Care is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by courier, shipping carriers, or customs authorities
- Loss or damage caused by unforeseen events, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control
- Any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied in any given order.
10. Intellectual Property
All branding, packaging designs, product names, and content associated with Alora Customary Care are our exclusive property. Buyers may not reproduce or use Alora's intellectual property without prior written consent.
11. Modification of Terms
Alora Customary Care reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued business with Alora after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Belagavi, Karnataka, India.
For international transactions, disputes may be resolved through mutually agreed arbitration in accordance with the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
